✨Vakar, 10. jūnijā, Liepājas muzejā norisinājās filmēšana ICOM Latvija īstenotajā projektā “Mācīties no pagātnes: Latvijas muzeju krājumu nelikumīgā aprite Otrajā pasaules karā un tā atskaņas (1940–1990)”.
Topošā dokumentālā īsfilma stāstīs par Liepājas muzeja krājuma likteni kara un okupācijas gados. Filmēšanas laikā muzeja vēsturniece Ieva Sila iepazīstināja ar savu pētījumu par muzeja darbu un krājuma saglabāšanu Otrā pasaules kara un okupācijas režīmu laikā, savukārt muzeja krātuvēs bija iespēja aplūkot priekšmetus, kas pēc Otrā pasaules kara atgūti no Vācijas, tostarp arī Pērkones villaini – pirmo Liepājas muzeja krājuma priekšmetu.
Filma ir daļa no Eiropas Savienības finansētā projekta PRISM (Prevention, Research, Investigation and Security in Museums), ko koordinē ICOM Kultūras mantojuma aizsardzības departaments sadarbībā ar partneriem no septiņām Eiropas valstīm.
Dokumentālā filma no 15. septembra būs skatāma ReTV ēterā un projekta digitālajās platformās.

✨Yesterday, on 10 June, filming took place at Liepāja Museum as part of the ICOM Latvia project “Learning From the Past: Latvian Museum Heritage Trafficking in World War II and its Aftermaths (1940–1990)”.
The upcoming documentary explores the fate of the museum’s collection during the war and occupation periods. During filming, museum historian Ieva Sila shared insights from her research on how the museum and its collections were affected by both N**i and Soviet occupation regimes.
The filming also continued in the museum storage facilities, where several objects recovered from Germany after the Second World War are preserved, including the Pērkone shawl – the very first object acquired by Liepāja Museum.
The film is being produced within the European Union-funded PRISM (Prevention, Research, Investigation and Security in Museums) project, coordinated by the ICOM Heritage Protection Department together with partners from seven European countries.
The documentary will premiere on 15 September on ReTV and will also be available through the digital platforms of ICOM Latvia and the PRISM project.
