As we get ready for the Riga TechGirls 10 Year Anniversary Festival, here is a quick look at how the Kvartāls (Ūnijas Street) venue will be set up:

📍 Entrance & Registration (Entrance 1): Coming from Brīvības iela or Domina side? Head straight to the pink registration zone to swap your ticket for a wristband.

🎭 Stages: The festival features three main action zones:

🟧 Experience stage is powered by
🤖 Expo Area: Right in the center, you'll find the space dedicated to tech and innovation exhibits.
🍔 Food Court: When you need a quick energy boost, head over to the green zone near Ūnijas iela 10 for some delicious food.

✨ Iedvesma, tehnoloģijas un pirmie IT projekti!

20. maijā Zemgale TechGirls kopienā aizvadījām fantastisku un praktisku semināru kopā ar TSI profesori Irinu Pticinu. Runājām par to, kā MI var kļūt par labāko palīgu ceļā uz IT karjeru, un pats galvenais - redzējām to darbībā!
Profesore demonstrēja, kā ar mūsdienu tehnoloģiju rīkiem pavisam vienkārši var izveidot savu pirmo nelielo projektu - kalkulatoru vai personīgo tīmekļa lapu. Dalībnieku acīs bija redzams tas īpašais "klikšķis", kad saproti: "Pagaidi, es arī to varu!" 💡

Liels paldies Irinai par vienkāršajiem skaidrojumiem un iedvesmu, kā arī katram no jums par dalību un uzdotajiem jautājumiem. Kopā mēs augam un pierādām, ka tehnoloģijas ir pieejamas ikvienam!

The man running our capital city is coming to and we are not calm about it. 👇
Viesturs Kleinbergs is the Mayor of Riga and a social policy expert with more than 20 years of experience in state and local government administration. For nearly a decade, he headed the social services department of the Latvian Samaritan Association.
