“Everything is a story, and everyone is a book.” 📖

In our latest interview, Ukrainian writer and journalist Olga Aleksandrova reflects on exile, resilience, and the responsibility of storytelling. From Kyiv to Luxembourg, her journey has reshaped not only her perspective but her voice.

“Writers and artists have the magical skill to transform personal pain into universal beauty.”

Through her work, Olga explores war, displacement, and hope without offering easy answers. Instead, she creates space: space for reflection, recognition, and the quiet comfort of not feeling alone.

Now finishing her new book Endless Hope, she reminds us that art does not report life it transforms it.

In this conversation with musician, composer, and educator Adham Al-Sayyad, we explore how the breath of the Kawala becomes a space for reflection, belonging, and shared healing. Rooted in Egyptian Baladi and Sufi traditions and shaped by cross-cultural collaboration in Luxembourg, Adham reminds us that music often speaks where words fall short.

🎶 “The Kawala’s meditative tone offers a direct channel for processing emotions and grounding myself through sound and breath.”
