On 13 June 2026 🇱🇺⚽ LuxAz joined the “Rencontres sans frontières” festival in Cessange, a day of sport, culture, and connection. The team represented Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 on the field and connected with many communities.

Looking ahead, LuxAz additionally will organize an Azerbaijan National Stand at the 2027 edition, showcasing our culture, traditions, music, and cuisine.

LuxAz Communication Manager Dr. Sevinj Omarli and member Kamran Ibiyev participated in NEXUS Luxembourg 2026, one of Europe’s leading AI and technology summits, bringing together more than 10,000 participants, over 150 speakers, 500+ startups and scaleups, and representatives from more than 50 countries.

During the event, discussions were held regarding the potential establishment of an Azerbaijani Pavilion at future editions of NEXUS, creating an opportunity to showcase Azerbaijan’s innovation ecosystem, startups, and technological achievements to a global audience.

On June 10th, the LuxAz Center hosted a book exhibition and presentation featuring Musa Marjanli, a historian with a PhD, publicist, journalist, and the editor-in-chief of “IRS” magazine.
The event showcased publications reflecting Azerbaijan’s rich history, culture, and ethnography. Attendees had the opportunity to explore books dedicated specifically to the cultural heritage of Karabakh, Shusha, and Azerbaijan as a whole.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Musa Marjanli for his valuable contribution to promoting Azerbaijani culture around the world, as well as to the team at the AzEmbBrussels for their kind participation and support.

On 6 June, the “III Forum of Azerbaijani Engineers Living in Europe” took place in Hamburg 🇩🇪
Focused on Smart City Technologies and Processes, the forum gathered professionals from across Europe to explore future urban solutions.
LuxAz Vice President Iskandar Akhundov represented Luxembourg with a talk on smart laboratory ecosystems, engineering talent gaps, and future healthcare innovation in Karabakh.
A powerful exchange of ideas shaping the cities of tomorrow.

3rd Sugovushan International Minifootball Tournament in Brussels! ⚽️🇧🇪

Our LuxAz team participated in this amazing tournament in Belgium, and the boys gave it everything they had!
Despite a technical error in the tournament bracket that caused some of the strongest teams to face each other too early and LuxAz finished in 10th place overall.
More than football, this event was a celebration of friendship, unity, and the strength of the Azerbaijani diaspora across Europe.

On the occasion of 1 June- International Children’s Day, LuxAz organized an art session for children at the LuxAz Center.

Led by art teacher Aynur Gasimova, the 2-hour session welcomed children at different time intervals, giving them the chance to express their creativity through colors and art.
