Around 100 full-time equivalent positions are expected to be affected in Luxembourg as Universal Investment Group restructures its operations, with some activities set to move to Poland.

According to Luxembourg Times, the restructuring will affect two locations in the Grand Duchy, with around 90 FTEs impacted at European Fund Administration (EFA) in Luxembourg City. EFA has been part of Universal Investment Group since 2022.

💼 The announcement highlights an important development within the European financial services sector and, in particular, within the economic relationship between and .

🏦 Luxembourg remains one of Europe’s leading financial centres and a major hub for the investment funds industry, while Poland has developed a significant financial and business services sector and is already an established operational location for Universal Investment Group.

🤝 For the Luxembourg-Poland business community, developments such as this are worth following closely. Cross-border integration can create new opportunities for investment, cooperation and knowledge exchange, but changes in the geographical distribution of activities also bring questions around employment, skills, competitiveness and the roles different European financial centres will play in the future.

As companies continue to review how and where their European operations are organised, the relationship between established financial centres and growing service locations is likely to remain an important topic.

How do you see this development — and what could the changing distribution of financial services activities mean for Luxembourg and Poland in the years ahead?

💶 Funding a business is not just about finding money — it’s about finding the right source of funding and presenting a case that makes sense.

A strong business idea can still struggle to secure financing if the funding request is unclear, poorly matched to the business stage, or unsupported by credible numbers.

That’s why, as part of the Entrepreneurial Woman Project 2026, Daniel Milano Torres, Business Advisor at the House of Entrepreneurship Luxembourg, will lead a practical Funding / Fundraising Training, building directly on the business plan participants have already structured.

During the session, you’ll learn how to:

✔️ Map the funding landscape available in Luxembourg

✔️ Understand the differences between bank loans, public support schemes, grants and business angels

✔️ Identify which funding sources best fit your business stage and sector

✔️ Understand what lenders and investors actually look for

✔️ Build a credible funding request backed by the numbers in your business plan

✔️ Avoid common pitching mistakes that can weaken an otherwise strong business idea

The goal is to help you move from “I need funding” to a much clearer understanding of how much you need, where to look for it and how to make a convincing case.

✨ Apply for EWP 2026 and learn how to turn your business plan into a credible funding opportunity!

Entrepreneurs are often expected to be strategists, marketers, salespeople, financial planners and operational experts at the same time. 🧠📈

That pressure can create the impression that asking for support means not being capable enough.

TMF Group offers a different perspective:

🤝 No one builds a successful business alone.

The ability to recognise when you need advice, specialist knowledge or a fresh perspective is an entrepreneurial strength. 💪

Mentors, advisors, partners and trusted peers can help you navigate challenges more effectively. They may notice opportunities you have overlooked, question assumptions you have stopped examining or share knowledge that would take years to develop independently. 🔍✨

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. It is often one of the most strategic decisions an entrepreneur can make. 🎯

Who has made an important difference in your entrepreneurial journey? 👇

📊 Not sure how to turn your idea into a real business?

Many first-time entrepreneurs have a great idea — but struggle to answer the questions that matter most.

Who are your customers? What problem are you solving? How will you make money? And what makes your business different?

That's why the Entrepreneurial Woman Project ( ) 2026 includes a dedicated Business Model Canvas Workshop, led by Adis Sabanovic, Business Consultant at the House of Entrepreneurship.

💬 As Adis shares: "When putting an idea into practice, it is essential not to lose sight of one's objectives and to know what are the most important actions to take. My workshop will enable future women entrepreneurs to define their value proposition in line with the needs of their future clients and to create a business model that is appropriate to the entrepreneur's profile and professional vision."

What you’ll discover in this workshop:

✔️ Define your value proposition: Understand what makes your business unique and how to communicate it effectively.

✔️ Know your customers: Identify your target audience and learn how to reach them.

✔️ Build a sustainable business model: Explore your key resources, revenue streams, and the foundations of a successful business.

✔️ Price with confidence: Learn how to create a pricing strategy that is both competitive and profitable.

✔️ Grow your network: Connect with like-minded women entrepreneurs, share ideas, and learn from each other's experiences.

This isn't about writing a lengthy business plan — it's about gaining the clarity to make informed decisions and build a business that reflects your goals, your strengths, and the value you bring to your customers.

✨ A great idea deserves a strong business model. Apply for the Entrepreneurial Woman Project 2026 and start building yours!
