🎳 Bowling Night at City Concorde 🎳

On May 27, we successfully held our Free-talk Bowling Night at in City Concorde!

A total of 16 participants, including JLA staff members, joined the event and enjoyed bowling together in three teams.

Throughout the evening, participants used Japanese expressions such as “Sugoi!” (“Amazing!”), “Ganbatte!” (“You can do it!”), and “Oshii!” (“So close!”), creating a fun opportunity not only to bowl together, but also to practice Japanese naturally.

Participants also had the chance to talk with each other about learning Japanese and share their experiences in a relaxed atmosphere.

Unfortunately, due to a system error, we were unable to determine which team won this time… but hopefully we’ll have another chance next time! 😊

Thank you very much to everyone who joined us!

We successfully held the Japanese reading event “Salon de lecture tadoku,” co-organised with the Embassy of Japan in Luxembourg, and featuring Mr. Arisue, a Japanese language education advisor from the Japan Foundation, Paris.

The event took place on 29 April at the Embassy of Japan in Luxembourg.

Many Japanese language learners joined us, and we enjoyed a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the session.

Participants had the opportunity to read simple Japanese books at their own pace and experience the joy of reading in Japanese.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who participated, as well as to the Embassy of Japan in Luxembourg and all those who supported this event.

We look forward to organizing more opportunities to explore Japanese language and culture in the future.

Thank you to the 12 participants joined April free-talk session!
This time, we tried a fun “Right Brain? Left Brain? Logical or Emotional?” personality test game 🔍🧠

Just by looking at how you clasp your fingers or your hand habits, it supposedly reveals your personality—and everyone was like, “Wait, how does it know!?” and “It’s scarily accurate…!” 😂
We discovered some unexpected sides of each other, and the laughs never stopped!

With a slightly different kind of free talk than usual, it turned into a really fun and lively time ✨

Our May free-talk will be held playing bowling so pls join us!

We participated in Lycee classique de Diekirch school’s cultural event, “LCD Kulturdag” with a Japan booth.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore various aspects of Japanese culture, including martial arts and traditional practices.

We also organized interactive activities such as a kendama challenge, a “favorite anime” survey, rice cracker tasting, and a quiz about different types of Japanese KitKat.

Around 1,400 students attended the event, and it was wonderful to see so many of them enjoying and showing interest in Japanese culture.

We look forward to continuing to share the appeal of Japan through cultural exchange.

Lycée classique de Diekirch
📅4月16日「LCD Kulturdag(文化祭)」
