🌿 Different backgrounds, one shared day.
Sometimes, integration into a new country starts with something very simple: walking next to someone, having a conversation, sharing a laugh or discovering a local tradition.
For people with refugee backgrounds, meeting local residents and taking part in activities within the wider community can be an important step towards feeling more connected to life in Luxembourg.
A diverse group can make a day like this richer for everyone - with different stories, perspectives and experiences shared along the way.
This is what our latest Chemins croisés hike in Greiveldange was all about.
Throughout the day, there were plenty of opportunities to meet new people, exchange stories and discover something new. We walked through the countryside, explored Léiffrawëschdag and experienced this local tradition side by side.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this day so welcoming and memorable.
📸 A big thank you to Kateryna Mostova for capturing these moments and helping us keep the memories of this beautiful day.
