Mit tiefer Betroffenheit haben wir vom Tod unseres Ehrenmitglieds Fauja Singh erfahren, der mit 114 Jahren einem tragischen Verkehrsunfall mit Fahrerflucht erlag. Gern erinnern wir uns an die schönen Zeiten, die wir mit ihm verbringen durften. 2010 ist er noch einen Halbmarathon in Luxemburg gelaufen. Unsere Gedanken sind bei seinen Angehörigen und dem Laufclub „Sihks in the City“. Möge er in Frieden ruhen. Wir werden seinAndenken in Ehren halten.

We were deeply saddened to learn of the death of our honorary member Fauja Singh, who died at the age of 114 in a tragic hit-and-run accident. We fondly remember the wonderful times we were able to spend with him. In 2010, he ran a half marathon in Luxembourg. Our thoughts are with his family and the “Sihks in the City” running club. May he rest in peace. We will honor his memory.

Ein erlebnisreiches "InterFaith - Run for a United World"-Wochenende liegt hinter uns. Alle 11 Teams und damit über 70 Teilnehmende kamen gut ins Ziel. Glückwunsch!!
Mit dabei auch ein Team Sehbehinderter mit Begleitern, muslimische Pfadfinder aus Luxemburg, ein Team Studierender der Uni Kassel mit ihrer Professorin, Gefängnisgeistliche aus den Niederlanden und viele mehr.

An eventful ‘InterFaith - Run for a United World’ weekend lies behind us. All 11 teams and thus over 70 participants crossed the finish line safely. Congratulations!
Also taking part were a team of visually impaired people with companions, Muslim scouts from Luxembourg, a team of students from the University of Kassel with their professor, prison chaplains from the Netherlands and many more.

"InterFaith - Run for a United World A.s.b.l.", bietet im Rahmen des ING Night Marathon Luxembourg wieder einen interreligiösen und interkulturellen Friedenslauf mit Rahmenprogramm an.

Möglich sind:
Marathon (42,195 km)
Halbmarathon (21, 1 km)
Team Run (vier Etappen zwischen 7,2 und 13,4 km, das Team wird von uns interkulturell und international zusammengestellt.)

Die Teilnahmegebühr beinhaltet ein kostenfreies InterFaith-Funktions-T-Shirt und die Teilnahme am Pasta-Willkommensabend (Freitag).

Auf Wunsch bieten wir freie Unterkunft für zwei Nächte in einer Gastfamilie.
Der gesammte öffentliche Personenverkehr in Luxemburg ist für jedermann kostenlos.

Anmeldungen werden ab sofort unter www.interfaith.eu entgegen genommen.

“InterFaith – Run for a United World A.s.b.l.”, is again offering an interreligious and intercultural peace run with a supporting program as part of the ING Night Marathon Luxembourg.

Possible are:

Marathon (42,195 km)
Half Marathon (21, 1 km)
Team Run (four legs between 7,2 and 13,4 km, the team will be composed intercultural and international).

The participation fee includes a free InterFaith functional T-shirt and participation in the Pasta Welcome Evening (Friday).

Upon request, we offer free accommodation for two nights with a host family.
All public transport in Luxembourg is free for everyone.

Registrations are accepted as of now under www.interfaith.lu .

In nur drei Monaten, am 20.Mai 2023, findet wieder unser interreligiöser und interkultureller Friedenslauf im Rahmen des „ING Night Marathon Luxembourg“ statt.
Der Anmeldeschluss des ING Night Marathons ist abhängig von der Anmeldezahl und von der Art des Wettbewerbes (Marathon, Halbmarathon, Team Run). Wir können also nicht vorhersagen, ab welchem Zeitpunkt keine Anmeldungen mehr angenommen werden.
Daher ist es ratsam, sich – falls noch nicht geschehen - möglichst zeitnah anzumelden, um einen Startplatz sicher zu bekommen.
Anmeldungen bitte nur über unsere Webseite www.interfaith.lu.
Anmeldungen, die direkt beim ING Night Marathon Luxembourg gemacht werden, können leider nicht auf „InterFaith – Run for a United World“ umgebucht werden. Für diesen Fall können wir auch nicht die Läuferbeutel abholen und am Freitagabend aushändigen. Dann muss jede/r Einzelne den Läuferbeutel selbst gegen Vorlage eines Ausweispapieres bei der Marathonmesse abholen.

In three months, on May 20th 2023, our interfaith and intercultural peace run will take place again within the "ING Night Marathon Luxembourg".
The registration deadline of the ING Night Marathon depends on the number of registrations and on the type of competition (Marathon, Half Marathon, Team Run). Therefore, we cannot predict at what point no more registrations will be accepted.
Therefore, it is advisable to register as soon as possible - if you have not already done so - in order to be sure of a starting place.
Please register only via our website www.interfaith.lu.
Registrations made directly at the ING Night Marathon Luxembourg can unfortunately not be transferred to "InterFaith - Run for a United World". In this case we also cannot pick up the runners bags and hand them out on Friday evening. Then each individual must pick up the runner's bag himself/herself at the marathon fair upon presentation of an identification document.
We are looking forward to more registrations and wish all participants a good preparation!
