It’s International Rare Disease Day!

💡300 million people worldwide are living with a rare disease. 70% of genetic rare diseases start in childhood. 6000+ identified rare diseases.

Over the years, the ATOZ Foundation has supported a number of projects related to raising awareness around research into developing cures for a number of rare diseases, including working with ELA Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) - University of Luxembourg. Every step counts.

An annual event dedicated to boosting radical generosity, held on the Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the idea behind GivingTuesday is to set aside a single day to counter consumerism by giving back.

Since 2019, Stand Speak Rise Up has been funding holistic projects around the world so that all survivors of sexual violence and children born of wartime sexual violence can live in peace and dignity.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls!

Today we take the opportunity to turn the spotlight onto our collaboration with the Fondation Follereau and its important missions.

The Fondation Follereau is dedicated to improving the quality of life for vulnerable communities across Africa. Through its support to a project in Burkina Faso fighting Female Ge***al Mutilations, the ATOZ Foundation was proud to partner with the Fondation Follereau, allowing 137 women to benefit from reconstructive surgery in 2022 and 2023. The project's beneficiaries include women and girls, children and teenagers, community representatives and religious leaders from the villages in the region.

ATOZ Foundation's goal is to make a difference in the lives of children and their families, whether it be school construction, extracurricular activities, training for income-generating activities, medical research or working in close partnership with the University of Luxembourg to give students opportunities to get closer to a real world experience in the field of tax law.

We help non-profit organisations in their efforts to support children and young adults, allowing them to lift themselves out of hardship, strengthen their capacities and find their own way to improve the living conditions through education.

Today, on World Children's Day, we share a special thought for each and every child around the world - May you always have the opportunity to speak your piece, stand up for yourselves and talk about your lives, hopes and rights! 💕

Today is a monumental day in the history of Luxembourg. Officially named "Trounwiessel", His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri is abdicating after 25 years on the throne, handing over the reigns to his son, who will be sworn in as His Royal Highness Grand Duke Guillaume.

In particular, we take this opportunity to thank the Luxembourg Royal Family for their unwavering support of our Foundation throughout the years! 🙏

Our Foundation prides itself on supporting initiatives that uphold the values of peace and harmony, and we have the opportunity to be involved with a range of humanitarian initiatives, including promoting health and well-being and fostering education—All of which are crucial elements in creating a world free from conflict.
