For the past several years, the Chamber has highlighted notable women in Luxembourg whose professional journeys, leadership styles, and perspectives help shape the country’s international business landscape. This year, we are delighted to welcome Jenny de Nijs as our special guest.

Jenny has played a central role in the development of Luxembourg’s financial ecosystem and has been instrumental in advancing sustainable and inclusive finance initiatives, including the Gender Finance Task Force, which she established and chairs.

Sunday 7th June🏏
Legends of cricket, Lord Ian Botham and Matthew Hoggard will be in attendance, and Monty Panesar will be playing for the Optimists XI as they take on the MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) at the Pierre Werner Cricket Ground in Walferdange.

This weekend, the Optimists Cricket Club celebrate their 50th anniversary and as part of the festivities, have a match organised on Sunday 7th June that you are welcome to attend.

The match starts from 13:00 and there will be food and drinks available for sale all afternoon.

You will be very welcomed, and it is a very family friendly environment. Maybe get some tips before the British Chamber play the Optimists Cricket Club on 5th July!

How can banks derive strategic value from integrating ESG risks into governance, risk management and capital planning frameworks?

On 24 June 2026, The British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg will host an expert roundtable on ESG risks under CRD VI, bringing together a select group of professionals from banks, consulting firms and law firms in Luxembourg.

The discussion will focus on:

· Key strategic and operational challenges in integrating ESG risks into risk management, in line with EBA ESG Guidelines and evolving supervisory expectations.

· Potential levers to turn these regulatory developments into strategic value by strengthening resilience, adapting business models and expanding sustainable product offerings.

The roundtable will provide an open and collaborative forum for peers to exchange ideas, practical experience and good practices.

The key takeaways from the discussion will be consolidated into an anonymised summary and published on the BCC website to contribute to knowledge-sharing across the business community.

This session will be followed by a networking cocktail.
