A community of Jewish bakers are joining forces to raise money for lone soldiers and victims We will then send you the details for the donation.

A community of Jewish bakers are coming together to join forces and raise money for Lone Soldiers and family affected by the horrors of October 7th. How to get involved?
- Donations welcome, with a challah offered for contributions above €25
- All proceeds will go to Bayit Brigade, in support of lone soldiers and displaced families (https://www.bayitbrigade.org)
- Challah will be available for pic

k-up at various locations
- Challah will be prepared for December 8th and 15th
- We will send out our fundraising tally to all of our contributors at the end of our mission.

How to reserve your challah or make a donation? Send an email to [email protected] along with your full name, pledge amount and location (to help organize pick-ups – full address not required). Depending on the response, we may need more bakers to help! This is a grassroots initiative, and we welcome any help we can get. Should you be interested in volunteering to bake challah for the cause or to help with logistics, please send me an e-mail with “VOLUNTEER” in the subject line, including your name and phone number. We are all in this together, united as one! With lots of love to everyone and a sincere thank you for your help!

👋Meet Ari, another baker on our amazing team. Ari is from Long Island, NY 🍎and has been enjoying his time living in Luxembourg with his beautiful family. He will be baking 8 challah for the Chanukah Shabbat dinner organized by the synagogue in Esch.

👋Meet our volunteer baker, Mariela. Mariela comes from Buenos Aires and has been calling Luxembourg home for the past 13 years. When she’s not working, she enjoys time with her daughters and cooking. We are lucky to be using her famous challah recipe that everyone is always raving about!

👋Rachael is a mother of two little girls from Bergen County, New Jersey who has called Luxembourg her forever home for the last 12 years. Rachael loves all things art and food related. She is looking forward to taking the care to make your beautiful loaves of challah.
