Update on the well. It doesn't appear that it has collapsed it has however dropped to the point that now we are pumping iron, which is still an indication that the aquifer has dropped considerably. He wants me to run it an hour three times a day to see if it clears up. If it doesn't he will be back on Thursday to chlorinate the well to see if it clears up. The other option is to put a filter on the water line. That will be expensive but still cheaper than a new well, which is 8 k. Fingers crossed we can fix this.

Also if you know anyone that owns a well company in Ocala, and would be be willing to work with us on a payment plan, we can afford 200.00 a month in payment. Good evening everyone. We have a dire situation here at the rescue . It seems with the sever drought that has gripped our area it has caused our well to dry up. We have had cloudy water for a few weeks, so we have been curbing our water consumption as much as possible, but tonight the water is mostly sand. Our funds are completely depleted and we need to attempt to raise $3500.00 to have a new well dug. We have no options what so ever. As you can imagine, with 24 dogs, 7 cats and 3 rabbits here on property, water is vital. From drinking water for the animals, cleaning each day and laundry for the animals, we can not go without water! If you can find it in your heart to donate what you can, or if you know of a company that would be willing to work with us, we can afford around $200.00 a month to make payments. Please help if you can, I am just at a loss for what to do. Times like this truly make me miss my husband, he was always able to solve these problems and he would be able to help me haul water from another source.

Good morning to our followers and supporters. It has been awhile since you have heard from us, and for that I apologize. Since my husbands passing, I have been struggling through each day. It is not easy to do it all alone. I have been very busy and productive. We have placed several dogs and cats, reducing our numbers considerably. This endeavor will continue until we are down to 9 dogs. They will be with me since they are not adaptable.

I the same time frame, I am turning the rescue over to Louise Kuttler to run and make hers. She has been made the President of the rescue and will be running things from here on. We know that she will do an amazing job making sure our mission and objectives are met. Please help us welcome her with open arms. In short order she will be establishing a new email for the rescue, the current email address will remain in use and active so adopters up to this point can still communicate with me.

We still have some amazing dogs available for adoption so if you are looking to adopt, please email us [email protected] and let's us know what you are looking for. We have dogs of all sizes and ages.
