Since March 2, repeated Israeli airstrikes have devastated Beirut’s southern suburbs, damaging homes, roads, water networks, and healthcare facilities, while forcing thousands from their homes.
For those who remain, access to healthcare, safe water, and essential services continues to shrink as insecurity and destruction persist.
In response, our teams have scaled up emergency support through mobile clinics, rehabilitation of damaged health centres, distribution of relief items, and improvements to water and sanitation services—helping communities access critical care and safe water.
But the needs remain immense. Without safety, healthcare, and basic services, many families still cannot safely return home.
