Within its purpose, the initiative
- hosts awareness raising events, and
organises workshops, conferences, and actions,
- makes assessments and conducts research,
- contributes to the development and implementation of practices and actions at the EIB Group, and proposes actions and initiatives,
- conducts enquiries and surveys among its members, and
- acts as a forum for its members to debate, share and exchange ideas and best practices on how to include sustainability in our personal and professional environment. IMPORTANT NOTE: EIB Green Staff is not an official body of the European Investment Bank but a private initiative of its employees.

Membership
EIB Green Staff offers two kind of membership: Becoming a Member is generally limited to EIBG employees while becoming a Supporter is open to externals as well. As an inclusive staff-led network, EIB Green Staff does not differentiate between the two types of membership except where this is mandatory by internal requirements (e.g. participation to events subsidized by the EIB, voting in General Assembly). Please note that events and activities at the EIB premises might be limited to EIB employees due to security restrictions.
