Finally did a modification to the fuel system I thought I had done already in 2012 😀
Installed an OEM fuel pump on the Right side and am using it as a swirl-pump. The right side tank now (as before) gets the return from the rail, but rather than using the mechanical syphon-system which came on the S50B32 (installed this in 2011 in my car after I punctured the original tank), it now has a full-on fuel pump pushing fuel from the right side to the left side.
On the left side I have had a Walbro 400 pump since 2014 (255 pump before). I noticed that the positive connector had melted, probably due to the added amperage the Walbro pulls.
So this time around I connected the Walbro directly to the battery and hard ground via a relay, which is then controlled from the positive terminal of the original connector.
The Right side pump uses the original setup.
Works a treat, also replaced all the hoses.
