A distinguished diplomat with over three decades of service in the Indian Foreign Service, Ambassador Verma has represented India across key global capitals, including Hong Kong, Beijing, Washington DC, Kathmandu, Hanoi, and Dhaka.

Prior to his current appointment, he served as the High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh and Ambassador of India to Vietnam, playing a significant role in strengthening India’s international partnerships and advancing diplomatic engagement across the region.
