🎬 Open Air Cinema with GetBrainHealthy x Sunset Cinema 🧠

Join us for a summer movie night under the stars, combining cinema and brain sciences!

We’ll meet at 18:00 to enjoy the workshops and activities around the venue organised by Sunset Cinema and GetBrainHealthy, a project promoting brain health, mental wellbeing, and healthier lifestyles through practical tools and community events.

At 19:45, we’ll settle in for the screening of The Father, a powerful and moving film following an elderly man’s experience of memory loss and confusion, and the impact this has on his relationship with his daughter. With brilliant performances and an immersive narrative, the movie offers a striking insight into ageing, identity, and care.

Bring a blanket or a jacket and something comfy to sit on 🧺 Let’s enjoy the summer evening together and share thoughts about the film afterwards!

🎶 Itinerant Concert of Hunting Horns - Haupeschbléiser
Experience a traveling concert through the city’s beautiful parks, where the UNESCO-listed tradition of hunting horn music (as recognized by the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) comes to life.

🛍️ Flea Market
Calling all bargain hunters and vintage lovers! We’ll make a stop at the famous Luxembourg City flea market, a lively space where everyone can find a hidden treasure, browse second-hand goods, or simply enjoy the Sunday atmosphere.

After our stroll (and side quests!), we can decide together: Should we get a warm drink? Do a bit more shopping? Visit a cool spot in town? Let’s allow spontaneity to guide our adventure!

Join us on Saturday morning for a refreshing walk and tasty breakfast at Escher Déierepark! 🦝

It’s the perfect opportunity to meet fellow researchers, enjoy the outdoors, and chat about scientific topics, cultural ideas, or anything related to research life. Whether you’re just starting your academic journey or already working in Luxembourg, everyone is welcome! 🇱🇺

We’ll meet at 10:00 in front of the Esch gare. Entry is free, and you can buy small food packs onsite to feed the animals. We’ll also enjoy a delicious breakfast at the excellent café inside the park. ☕
