Ready to put your science in the spotlight? The Science Slam is your chance to share your research in a thrilling 10-minute performance. It can be a song, demo, or captivating talk. Impress the live audience, interact with them, and let your creativity shine! The audience votes for their favorite, but all participants receive a gift from our sponsors, and the winner takes home the main trophy.

Email [email protected] by 30 June 2026 with your background, affiliation, and topic. We will select participants from among all applicants, with the aim of creating a balanced program representing the fields of life, mind, and social sciences. Coaching is offered for first-time slammers!

Bring yourself and your friends for a relaxed afternoon stroll in the heart of Luxembourg City as we wander, explore, and let spontaneity lead the way! Along our route, we’ll discover some special events:

🎶 Itinerant Concert of Hunting Horns - Haupeschbléiser
Experience a traveling concert through the city’s beautiful parks, where the UNESCO-listed tradition of hunting horn music (as recognized by the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) comes to life.

🛍️ Flea Market
Calling all bargain hunters and vintage lovers! We’ll make a stop at the famous Luxembourg City flea market, a lively space where everyone can find a hidden treasure, browse second-hand goods, or simply enjoy the Sunday atmosphere.

After our stroll (and side quests!), we can decide together: Should we get a warm drink? Do a bit more shopping? Visit a cool spot in town? Let’s allow spontaneity to guide our adventure!

We’re thrilled to invite you to our Repair & Swap Cloth Café in collaboration with Teranga and Lët'z Refashion. It’s a great chance to refresh your wardrobe sustainably, swap items with peers, and maybe pick up a few repair skills.

Join us on Saturday morning for a refreshing walk and tasty breakfast at Escher Déierepark! 🦝

It’s the perfect opportunity to meet fellow researchers, enjoy the outdoors, and chat about scientific topics, cultural ideas, or anything related to research life. Whether you’re just starting your academic journey or already working in Luxembourg, everyone is welcome! 🇱🇺

We’ll meet at 10:00 in front of the Esch gare. Entry is free, and you can buy small food packs onsite to feed the animals. We’ll also enjoy a delicious breakfast at the excellent café inside the park. ☕

We had a fantastic time decorating colorful eggs using natural dyes made from onion skins and leaves with different shapes 🥚🧅🌿
It was incredible to watch such simple ingredients turn into beautiful patterns and vibrant shades!

A big thank you to Teranga - la maison de la transition alimentaire for hosting and bringing this creative and joyful activity to life 💚
