Here at youth4planet we’re sometimes doing things slightly different. When it comes to education for sustainable development. Processing facts and figures is key to understanding of what is going on and how to act for the better for all of us. But what are you doing when an event related to climate change is happening right before your own eyes? Yes, things get tricky because humans are constantly dealing with (their own) emotions. That’s why emotional education is vital within education for sustainable development and that’s why we did our installation last sunday at the Naturmusée Fest. It was an opportunity for the participants to explore & process a chosen emotion via video and sound. The procedure was fairly simple:
1. you choose an emotion card
2. select the video wich could fit to your emotion
3. discover and mix sounds live according to your emotion and video
Last but def. not least: a million thanks to the (Staff) and Julien Meyer in particular for your trust and to be part of the Naturmusée Fest. Felt good if an activity also creates resonance.
