Am Dezember huet de Buttek Mosaïk, wéi all Joer, de Benefice vum ganze Joer gespent. 2025 sinn dobäi 𝟑𝟐.𝟐𝟓𝟔,𝟒𝟎 € zesumme komm – duerch de Verkaf am Buttek Mosaïk an duerch eis Porte Ouverte. 💛

Dës Zomm gouf un d’ pour un Monde Uni gespent, fir hire Formatiounsprojet an Argentinien a Bolivien z’ënnerstëtzen.
D’Zil vum Projet ass et, kleng lokal ONGen ze stäerken an auszebilden an hinnen ze hëllefen, Microentreprisen opzebauen. Esou kënne si selwer Revenuen generéieren an hir Aktivitéiten laangfristeg droen.

(ENG) 🎁✨ 2025 Annual Donation – Stronger Together for a Good Cause! ✨🎁

In December, as every year, Buttek Mosaïk donated the entire annual profit. In 2025, a total of 𝟑𝟐.𝟐𝟓𝟔,𝟒𝟎 € was raised – thanks to your purchases at the shop and our Porte Ouverte. 💛

This amount was donated to Action pour un Monde Uni (AMU) to support their training project in Argentina and Bolivia.
The aim of the project is to strengthen and train small local NGOs and help them set up micro-enterprises. This enables them to generate their own income and sustainably finance their activities in the long term.
You can find more information at www.amu.lu or directly through their partner NGO Sumá Fraternidad, with whom AMU collaborates.

🙏 As every year, €600 of this donation also went towards supporting orphaned children in India.

From February 2024, Sarah spent a full year in Bolivia as a volunteer with AMU, working on the Casa de los Niños project.
She is now organizing a photo exhibition at the Municipality of Strassen, sharing powerful moments from her time in Bolivia. During the exhibition, donations will also be collected to support the various activities and projects she was involved in.

Seeing the school finally open its doors was a truly heartwarming and unforgettable moment. 💫

[ENG] 🇧🇷 Our partner Comissão Pastoral da Terra - NE 2 in the northeast of Brazil is supporting families in the elaboration of agro-ecological gardens. The aim is to get away from the toxic monoculture of sugar cane, which is dominated by large, exploitative industries in this region. The farmers receive training and participate in seminars and workshops with regards to an agro-ecological agriculture. Moreover, CPT aims to bring the farmers together in cooperatives and encourages them to also further process their harvests and participate at local markets and agricultural fairs. CPT does exemplary work in this domain and thanks to our common project we have been able to support 292 families of 10 different communities.

Et war eng éischter niewesächlech kleng Aktivitéit an dësem Projet mat der Iddi dass d’Meedercher och wärend hirer Reegel kënnen an d’Schoul goen. Wëll si sech keng Produite kënne leeschten, bleiwen si da meeschtens doheem, doduercher feelen d’Meedercher oft bis zu 1 Woch pro Mount an der Schoul. Dank de Verdeelunge vu Binde waren d’Meedercher an de 9 Schoulen elo ëmmer präsent an der Schoul. Hier akademesch Leeschtunge sinn deementspriechend eropgaang. Dëst war och d’Zil vun dëser Aktivitéit.

Elo ass de Projet awer vun Externen evaluéiert ginn an et gouf festgestallt dass des Aktivitéit nach e ganzt anert, vun eis onerwaart Resultat erreecht huet: an deenen 9 ënnerstëtzte Schoule sinn d’Zuele vu jugendleche Schwangerschaften däitlech erofgaangen. Dëst wëll d’Meedercher sech oft a sexuell Bezéiungen agelooss hu fir Suen ze kréie fir sech Binde kënnen ze kafen. A staatleche Schoule ginn d’Binde gratis verdeelt mee leider ass dat a private Schoule wéi an dëse fir d’Maasai Bevëlkerung soss net de Fall.

In the unfortunate incidents, they got impregnated and dropped out. They did so to get money to buy sanitary towels. Since Mr. Supuko initiated this project, such incidents have reduced in our school”. – Beispillszitat vun engem Direkter vun enger Schoul aus dem Projet

[ENG] 🇰🇪 One activity from our emergency project in Kenya was the distribution of sanitary towels for girls in 9 schools. It was a rather small, secondary activity of the project aiming that girls could continue going to school during their menstruation cycle. As most of them cannot afford sanitary towels, they stay home during their periods. This means that girls miss up to 1 week of school per month. Thanks to the distributions, the girls were now present at school all the time. Their academic performances increased likewise, which was also the goal of this activity.

The project has, however, now been evaluated by externals and they reported another wonderful but unexpected result from this activity: in the 9 schools the rates of adolescent pregnancies dropped significantly. This is due to the fact that girls often engaged in sexual relations with older boys/men in order to get money to buy their sanitary pads. In public schools, sanitary towels for girls are distributed for free but in private schools, like the ones from this project targeting Maasai people, this is unfortunately not the case.
