Short summary: We are looking for doctoral, postdoctoral, or senior researchers for a 3–8-month salaried stay (October 2026 – June 2027), focused on the semantic annotation and computational analysis of hate speech in medieval antiheretical literature. The stay does not require terminating one's contract at the home institution; it only needs to be OK to let the researchers work for us (e.g. in the framework of a sabbatical, outside of semester duties, etc.), but this is between them and their home institution and we don’t interfere. The expected outcome is one co-authored article (Q1 journal) and contribution to a corpus of antiheretical polemics in the medieval West. The salary should safely cover the costs of temporary relocation and living costs in Brno; family allowance is also available for those coming with family.

The ideal candidate has a background in history, medieval studies, or medieval Latin philology, strong Latin reading competence, and a computer-friendly mindset. No prior experience in digital methods or medieval heresy is required.
