Exciting Opportunity: Become a FLEX 2025 Pre-Departure Orientation Teacher!
We are seeking American citizens with teaching experience to serve as PDO teachers for the FLEX Program 2025. This role is a unique chance to help prepare exchange students for their cultural journey to the United States.
Key Details:
Application Deadline: January 24, 2025
Training Requirement: Attend a mandatory four-day Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop in April 2025, held in Poland or Georgia.
PDO Dates and Location: Teach during the July 14-16, 2025 session in Latvia.
Job Highlights:
Prepare and teach engaging lessons in English about American culture, school, and family life.
Collaborate with the local orientation team and Alumni Teaching Assistants.
Assist with non-classroom activities to create a holistic orientation experience.
Who Can Apply?
American citizens with native English skills and experience in U.S. high schools ONLY.
Professional teaching experience (preferably with high school students).
Candidates with recent living experience in Europe/Eurasia are preferred, though local language skills are not required.
