Jau netrukus Vilnius dviem dienoms taps tarptautinių diskusijų apie integraciją, įtrauktį ir tautinių bendrijų vaidmenį šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje centru. Forumas suburs kelis šimtus dalyvių iš Lietuvos ir užsienio – politikos formuotojus ir įgyvendintojus, akademikus, nevyriausybinių organizacijų atstovus, žurnalistus bei pilietinės visuomenės narius.

Forumo programoje numatytos diskusijos ir pranešimai apims platų temų spektrą. Bus pristatoma naujai parengta tautinių mažumų būklės stebėsenos metodika ir aptariama, kaip duomenimis grįsti sprendimai gali prisidėti prie efektyvesnės politikos formavimo. Daug dėmesio bus skiriama tautinių mažumų vaidmeniui integracijos procesuose, pilietinės visuomenės stiprinimui bei savivaldos ir nevyriausybinių organizacijų partnerystei.

Taip pat bus nagrinėjami kalbinės ir sociokultūrinės integracijos klausimai, regioninė specifika, migracijos poveikis ekonomikai ir visuomenei. Forume bus kalbama apie jaunimo įsitraukimą, daugiakultūriškumo ugdymą bei švietimo vaidmenį kuriant atvirą visuomenę.

Migrants and refugees often face challenges when starting live in a new country: lack of access to vital services, language barrier, lack of information, preconceptions and stereotypes. We want to help change that!

My name is Ivan and I am the principal researcher for large-scale national survey on the integration and inclusion of foreign-born residents. Being an immigrant from Russia myself as well as an expert on social inclusion, I know why it is crucial to have accurate data and promote the voices of real people.

This is the most comprehensive study of this kind ever conducted in Lithuania with support from the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, the Migration Department, the Department of Supervision of Social Services, and 16 municipalities all over the country.

Our aim is to understand how people are doing here and to identify main challenges people experience while living in Lithuania.

Your input will help us to provide the state with important insights on how to improve services and support for people like you.

Меня зовут Иван, и я являюсь ведущим исследователем в рамках масштабного национального опроса, посвященного вопросам интеграции и инклюзии иностранцев. Будучи иммигрантом из России, а также экспертом в области социальной инклюзии, я понимаю, насколько важно располагать точными данными и давать возможность высказываться обычным людям.

Это самое масштабное исследование такого рода, когда-либо проводившееся в Литве при поддержке Министерства Социального Обеспечения и Труда, Департамента по Вопросам Миграции, Департамента по Надзору за Социальными Услугами, а также 16 муниципалитетов по всей стране.

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts joins the nation in celebrating International Women’s Day and National Women's Month, a time to honor the strength, leadership, and enduring contributions of Filipino women. 🇵🇭✨

In line with the call of the Philippine Commission on Women, this year’s celebration invites Women and Everyone (WE) to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment through a whole-of-government and all-of-society effort. With the sub-theme “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!”, we are reminded of the powerful legacy of the Babaylans of pre-colonial Philippines; women leaders whose influence was rooted in knowledge, empathy, and moral guidance. 🌿

May this celebration inspire us to recognize and uplift the many ways Filipino women lead—with courage, care, and conviction—in homes, communities, and across the cultural landscape.

2026 National Women’s Month Celebration

The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw joins the entire nation in celebrating the 2026 National Women’s Month (NWMC) with the sub-theme, “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!”, reaffirming women’s leadership as a fundamental part of Filipino identity. Just like the Babaylans in pre-colonial Philippines, women today continue to play a vital role in shaping society.

This month-long celebration highlights that women’s full participation is essential to sustainable progress. It demonstrates how Filipino women continue to advance inclusive governance, peacebuilding, and community development locally and across the ASEAN region, emphasizing values-driven, community-centered leadership that advances gender equality and collaborative progress.

Recognizing the important role that women play in society and giving tribute to all their invaluable contributions, the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw will extend a special privilege and priority lane to all women who will register on 06 March 2026 for the 2028 National and Local Elections, and to those who will avail themselves of the Embassy’s consular services on 18 and 25 March 2026. Special tokens will also be given out to those who will participate in answering trivia questions.

Lastly, the Philippine Embassy encourages everyone to wear purple on all Wednesdays in March to affirm our support to our PINAY Kababayans (" " Advocacy).
