Another strong signal from Lithuania’s growing AI ecosystem 🚀

Lithuanian–UK startup Kopa.ai has secured a €2M seed investment to further develop its agentic AI platform for e-commerce.

The round was co-led by XTX Ventures and Practica Capital, with participation from Inovia Capital and angel investor Ethan Ilfeld. The company plans to use the funding to scale its core technology and expand internationally.

In the newly released Dealroom.co Global Tech Ecosystem Index 2026, Vilnius ranks #2 in CEE among Density Leaders - highlighting ecosystems that generate exceptional startup and tech output relative to their size.

According to the Baltic Deep Tech Report 2025, the Baltics are now among the fastest-growing deep tech ecosystems in Europe 📈 — outperforming not only the Nordics and CEE region, but even the US in growth pace over the last four years.

🚀 “StartupBlink 2026” Ranking: Vilnius Climbs Higher, Lithuania Remains Among the Leaders

The global “StartupBlink 2026” startup ecosystem ranking shows that Vilnius has risen from 69th to 66th place among 1,000 cities worldwide ⬆️Lithuania ranks 22nd among the countries evaluated this year

The ranking assesses ecosystems based on startup activity, investments, growth, talent, and the overall business environment.

According to Karolina Urbonaitė, Head of the Innovation Agency’s “Startup Lithuania,” this is an important signal for investors and talent worldwide:

💬 “Lithuania is a fast and flexible country — creating favorable conditions for the growth of fintech, life sciences, and software sectors. Lithuania’s continued visibility in international rankings reflects the consistent growth of our ecosystem — we are becoming a trusted innovation partner, an attractive hub for investors, and a place where talent thrives,” she says.

Vilnius remains the only Lithuanian city among the world’s top 100 startup hubs 🌍
