As partners of , Sunrise Tech Park, together with the We-Rise Project, hosted the WE-RISE Cleantech & Deeptech Forum in Vilnius, bringing together investors, founders, researchers, policymakers, and ecosystem leaders to discuss the future of deeptech and climate innovation in Europe 🌱

The discussions explored how Europe can continue strengthening its position as a global leader in deeptech and climate innovation by fostering collaboration, supporting ambitious founders, and creating stronger pathways from research to market.

Highlights included:

🔹 The growing strategic importance of cleantech and deeptech technologies
🔹 The role of angel investors in supporting innovation
🔹 Successful examples of Baltic cross-border collaboration
🔹 Building stronger connections between science, business and investment
🔹 Supporting the growth of women-led deeptech startups

One message stood out throughout the forum: Europe's future competitiveness will be driven by innovation, collaboration, and the ability to turn breakthrough ideas into real-world impact 🙌

🌱 Last week, SSaulėtekio Tech Parkas / Sunrise Tech Parkhosted team meeting in Vilnius.

The FINEX project aims to improve access to experimentation spaces and help cleantech innovations move from the lab to real-world deployment. As the project approaches its final stage, we met together with the EISMEA Project Officer to discuss how to ensure a successful conclusion and create a lasting impact by consolidating recommendations developed through policy workshops and stakeholder discussions.

🔬 The meeting also included a visit to the FTMC Semiconductor Optics Laboratory, where we learned about cutting-edge research on semiconductor nanostructures, optical tomography, and infrared photodetectors - key technologies for next-generation photonics and sensing.

💡 It was also a valuable reminder that research delivers the greatest impact when it is visible, connected, and translated into practical applications.
