The Lithuanian Business Angel Network is a community of angel investors who invest in early-stage companies with exceptional growth potential.

We create a steady deal flow, educate and connect business angels locally and through partnerships with Nordic and Baltic Business Angel Networks in order to broaden the knowledge and network.

Furthermore, we want to facilitate the possibility of investing through micro funds, that reduce the risk and create an opportunity of diversifying the portfolio with small investment amounts. LitBAN was founded on the 14th of March, 2018 and marked a crucial step forward in the young Lithuanian startup ecosystem. LitBAN now has almost 100 members and our community grows stronger with each and every individual joining it: unheard insights, larger networks and new joint investment possibilities.

What is shaping investment markets today - both globally and here in the Baltics?

At yesterday’s Angel Lunch at Nasdaq in Vilnius, our angels had the opportunity to explore this question with people working at the heart of the capital markets. 📈

Arminta Saladžienė, Head of Nasdaq Vilnius and a LitBAN member, together with Gediminas Varnas, walked us through the history and evolution of Nasdaq Vilnius, its role in the Baltic financial ecosystem, and the investment trends currently influencing markets in the Baltics and around the world.

Their insights gave our angels a broader perspective on how the investment landscape is changing and led to an open discussion filled with thoughtful questions. To make the visit even more memorable, we also had the chance to ring the iconic Nasdaq bell! 🔔

Lithuania’s startup ecosystem needs more private capital - and the right incentives can help unlock it!

Today, LitBAN’s CEO Roberta Rudokiene joined a press conference organised by the Tėvynės sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai (TS-LKD) parliamentary group, where new proposals to incentivise business angel investment were presented.

Many European countries have already shown what the right incentives can unlock. The UK model, in particular, demonstrates how a well-designed system can attract new investors and bring significantly more private capital into the startup ecosystem. 🚀

According to our annual member survey, LitBAN members invest approximately €10–15 million in startups each year. And that reflects only our members, not the entire ecosystem. Imagine how much more could be achieved if more people were encouraged to invest.

More business angels mean more ambitious ideas getting a real chance, more startups growing in Lithuania and a stronger innovation ecosystem for everyone.

Almost every early-stage funding round announced in Lithuania this year has had angel investors.

In fact, 70% of Lithuania's publicly announced startup funding rounds this year have included business angels - that's 9 out of 13 deals.

From AI and deeptech to fintech, health, climate & energy, defence, enterprise software and consumer products, this year's investments show one thing: great ideas are being built across many industries, and angel investors continue to play a key role in helping them grow.

Angel investing is often introduced through numbers, deals, and capital. But at its heart, it is also about people who choose to share what they know, open doors for others, and help ideas grow. 🌍

During LOGIN 2026 in Vilnius, EBAN Congress speakers Angel Gambino, Marcel Dridje, and Marco Schnell joined Roberta Rudokiene on stage to reflect on why experienced founders, investors, and ecosystem builders continue to take an active seat in startup communities.🪑

Their message was clear: the strongest networks are not closed circles. They are built by people who are curious, generous with their experience, willing to take risks, and ready to grow together.
