The past few days in Cannes have been filled with inspiring conversations, new connections, and exciting moments for the Baltic short film community.

๐ŸŽฒ Our Baltic Shorts panel discussion ๐–๐ก๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ฌ? ๐‚๐จ-๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ง๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข๐œ ๐“๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐ญ brought together industry professionals and Baltic Pitching Forum alumni to discuss opportunities for short film projects in the Baltic region. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

There were also exciting moments for other BPF alumni across the festival. Stavros Markoulakis presented his project ๐“๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ข๐œ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐Œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐†๐ž๐œ๐ค๐จ, previously showcased at Baltic Pitching Forum in 2023, during a pitching session in Cannes๐ŸฆŽ

At ๐’๐…๐‚ | ๐‘๐ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ณ-๐ฏ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ˆ๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ, BPF alumna Dฤrta Krฤsone (Latvia) represented a new generation of producers active within the European co-production landscape and contributed to the ๐๐ž๐ฐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐‘๐จ๐จ๐ฆ programme.

๐ŸŸข Over the past days, participants explored the history of Trakลณ Vokฤ— Manor, met with the Vilnius City Municipality team, visited the new exhibition at ล iuolaikinio meno centras /\ Contemporary Art Centre and most importantly began both group and individual screenwriting consultations with Anna Ciennik.

Starting today, the residency enters its next phase: individual creative work with online consultations ๐Ÿ”

Wishing all participants a clear mind, inspiring conversations, and bold new ideas as they continue developing their scripts ๐Ÿ’ก
