Suaugusiųjų mokytojus ir besimokančiuosius kviečiame susipažinti su internetinio mokymo(si) kursu „Filosofija, menas ir vizualinio mąstymo strategijos“, skirtu problemų sprendimo bei bendravimo įgūdžių tobulinimui. Kurse integruotos filosofinės ir meninės koncepcijos bei vizualinio mąstymo (Visual Thinking) ir kūrybinio projektavimo (Design Thinking) metodikos, siekiant veiksmingo ir įtraukiančio mokymo(si).

PROJECT | COMPASS

The 'COMPASS – IN SUPPORT OF STUDENTS' COMPETENCE ASSESSMENT' project has come to an end!

During the project's intense 26-month lifetime, the project team:
- analysed the scientific literature on competence development and assessment, summarising the findings in the COMPENDIUM
- reviewed competence development and assessment policies and practices in general education in Lithuania, Romania and Finland, and produced the BRIEF REVIEW.
- developed a universal competence development and assessment model and its implementation guidelines, presenting them in the MODEL AND GUIDELINES.
- summarised knowledge and practice about competence development and assessment gained while piloting the COMPASS Model and Guidelines in Lithuania, Romania and Finland, presenting it in the SET OF BEST PRACTICES.
- developed recommendations for teachers, school communities, teacher educators and policymakers on competence development and assessment, which can be found in the RECOMMENDATIONS.

PROJECT | COMPASS

We are pleased to share with the education community the materials from the international conference, 'IN SUPPORT OF STUDENTS' COMPETENCE ASSESSMENT'.

The online conference was a success! With over 100 participants, valuable presentations by experts, and case studies from practising teachers, it created a meaningful space for sharing ideas about developing and assessing students' competences.

The international on-line conference „In support of students’ competence assessment“ is coming soon!
You will get an opportunity to get familiar with the examples of best pedagogical practices in Lithuania, Romania and Finland as well as look deeper into the topic during the keynote presentation „Continuous assessment and competences“.

The presentation examines how teachers’ assessment literacy – understood as the capacity to interpret evidence of learning and to use it pedagogically – supports the complex task of assessing transversal competences through continuous assessment practices. The presentation highlights authentic assessment as central processes in competence-oriented learning. Particular attention is given to self-assessment and peer feedback, and to how different forms of feedback influence students’ metacognitive awareness, engagement, and competence development.
