We are proud to contribute to the launch of the Wealth of Nations Index 2026, led by the Warsaw Enterprise Institute (WEI) together with 20 partner think tanks worldwide. The Index goes beyond GDP, assessing both economic strength and how effectively public spending translates into real outcomes. This year’s results highlight a shared challenge across advanced economies: declining efficiency of public spending.
We are pleased to cooperate with WEI in advancing evidence-based analysis.

Baltic performance in the Index:
Lithuania ranks 23rd, confirming its position as one of the region’s most efficient public sectors, supported by strong results in security and digital infrastructure.
Latvia ranks 28th, showing solid defence performance, while structural challenges remain in healthcare and infrastructure.
Estonia ranks 26th, continuing to stand out for digital governance and public-sector efficiency, despite a slight decline in ranking.

Centenary Policy Institute at the Munich Cyber Security Conference

On February 12, 2026, the Centenary Policy Institute participated in the roundtable discussion “A New Threat: Resisting Algorithmic Propaganda” at the Munich Cyber Security Conference.

The keynote address was delivered by Andrius Kubilius, European Commissioner for Defence and Space.

A featured case study was presented by Mykolas Katkus, Founder of Repsense, highlighting the company’s latest research and insights into algorithmic influence and digital manipulation.

The West must act more decisively to defend itself and Ukraine. Too often, politicians avoid difficult but necessary choices. Putin’s greatest fear is the Ukrainian army, now Europe’s defender, while the West fears Russia’s collapse—despite Russia remaining a major threat. Countries closer to Russia understand this best. Venezuela, Oil, and the Kremlin Mafia
