The Student Trainee Exchange Programme (STEP) enables law students and young lawyers to spend a period of time working abroad in a law related area. STEP gives the trainee increased knowledge of a particular legal system or an area of law, thus strengthening the professional skills of the trainee. As important as the academic and professional skills are, the improved language abilities and the exp
erience of another culture that the trainee gains while participating in STEP are invaluable. STEP traineeships take place at law firms, companies, banks, universities, public and private institutions and can last between 2 weeks and 2 years.

STEP (Student Trainee Exchange Programme) yra unikali programa, kuri suteikia galimybę teisės studentams bei jauniesiems teisinkams įgyti vertingos profesinės patirties užsienyje, gilinti žinias įvariose teisės sferose, ugdyti užsienio kalbos žinias bei susipažinti su kitos valstybės kultūra ir žmonėmis. STEP programos metu stažuotojai nuo 2 savaičių iki 2 metų gali praktikuotis advokatų kontorose, bankuose, universitetuose, įvairiose viešojo ir privačiojo sektoriaus įstaigose ne tik visoje Europoje, bet ir kitose pasaulio valstybėse.
