From 9–14 February, the Association "The Fifth Corner" co-organised the Study Session "Youth at the Heart of Peacebuilding" at the European Youth Centre in Budapest, together with Youth Peace Ambassadors Network and in cooperation with the Youth Department of the Council of Europe ☮️

Over these days, young people from 17 countries came together to explore , inclusive dialogue, trauma awareness, active listening, and through workshops, peer learning, and shared practice. It was also a space for reflection, connection, and from each other ☀️

We are grateful for the sincerity, care and energy that made this so meaningful. We are also happy that our director joined the team in the role of course director and trainer 🦙

We hope the experience will continue to encourage young people to build bridges, nurture dialogue, and bring peacebuilding into their local ! 🌱

As the most beautiful spring holidays approach, let us look back at the training course that took place in late autumn, where three participants from Lithuania — Agnė, Aurelija, and Karolina — took part. After all, it is never too late to share good memories and meaningful experiences 🌷✨ Here is what Aurelija told us:

For the whole week, from November 7th to 15th, an Erasmus+ funded youth work training course took place in Finland at the Ankkapurha Youth Centre ( ), titled From Conflict to Team ( ).

Throughout the week, by taking part in a variety of activities, using non-formal and creative methods, and working both in groups and individually, we explored how to strengthen teamwork, how to resolve conflicts within a team in a constructive way, and how to create an open and inclusive atmosphere in a team through both practical exercises and theory 🤝🌍

A heartfelt thank you to the trainers, Ivana from Croatia and Antoni from Cyprus, as well as to all the participants from seven countries — Lithuania, Cyprus, Croatia, Romania, Italy, France, and Spain ❤️

I came back with a wealth of experience, a range of training methods for teamwork, new friendships, and many ideas on how all of this can be applied when working with students at school. Thank you, .kampas , for the opportunity to take part in such unique and unconventional training 🌟

Back in November, Laura from "Penktas Kampas" team travelled to Weimar in Germany for the first residential phase of ToT – Ally Diverse - a Training of Trainers process focused on strengthening and in European youth work.

Those days stayed with many of us! 🍂
Learning through relationships, exploring the ETS Competence Model, setting personal learning goals and raising questions of , support and autonomy within training and learning spaces ♿️

With some distance and reflection, it is clear that this was not just a week of training, but the foundation of a longer process that continues online and will meet again in Spain and Slovenia in 2026.

We’re grateful to Europäische Jugendbildungs- und Jugendbegegnungsstätte Weimar (EJBW) for organizing this experience, and for the people, the exchanges, the questions raised, and the work still ahead! 💛

Autumn has been so busy that we can hardly keep up with sharing all the ! 🍂🍁

On September 22nd, we held the meeting of the “Sex-Ability 2” project, where we not only remembered the seminar in Kaunas but also reviewed the design of the practical for medical workers and discussed future for collaboration.

It was truly lovely to see you all – thanks to everyone who joined! 💛

Savaitgalis - puikus metas prisiminti vasaros įspūdžius! ✈🌞

Dvi žavingos lietuvaitės - Augustė ir Gabrielė - birželio 25 d. - liepos 3 d. atstovavo asociaciją "Penktas Kampas" ir dalyvavo mokymuose "Q!TE WORK PROJECT: Supporting Digital Competences of Youth Workers” Ankaros mieste, Turkijoje 🇹🇷 Štai ką apie mokymus papasakojo pačios dalyvės:

"Dalyvavimas šiame Erasmus+ projekte Turkijoje buvo labai vertinga patirtis. Projekto metu ne tik pagilinome savo žinias apie skaitmeninį jaunimo darbą 💻📱, bet ir išmokome dirbti komandoje su žmonėmis iš įvairių šalių. Susipažinome su skirtingų kultūrų atstovais, susiradome naujų draugų, dalinomės patirtimi ir kartu kūrėme inovatyvius projektus, mokėmės juos vertinti, tobulinti ir geriau bendradarbiauti komandoje 👨‍🦰👩‍🦱

Didelį įspūdį paliko pažintinė ekskursija po Ankarą – buvo įdomu pamatyti vietinę kultūrą, architektūrą ir kasdienį gyvenimą 🕌 Pati Turkija ir Ankara paliko tikrai labai gerą įspūdį – buvo smagu, jauku ir drąsiai sakome, kad tokioje veikloje tikrai norėtume sudalyvauti dar kartą. Tai buvo įkvepianti patirtis, kuri paskatino dar labiau domėtis jaunimo veiklomis ir tarptautiniu bendradarbiavimu 🤝💛

Two charming – Augustė and Gabrielė – represented the association “The Fifth Corner” 💛 and participated in the training “Q!TE WORK PROJECT: Supporting Digital Competences of Youth Workers” in the city of Ankara, Turkey 🇹🇷 from June 25 to July 3.
Here’s what the participants themselves had to say about the training:

"Participating in this + project in was a truly valuable .
During the project, we not only deepened our knowledge about digital youth work but also learned how to work with people from various countries 👋 We got to know representatives of different cultures, made new friends, shared experiences, and created innovative projects together. We also learned how to evaluate, improve them, and more effectively as a team 🫂

The sightseeing tour in Ankara was a real – it was fascinating to see the local culture, architecture, and everyday life 🥰 Turkey and Ankara left a very positive impression – it was fun, cozy, and we can confidently say we would love to take part in such an again ✈

It was an inspiring adventure that encouraged us to take even more interest in youth work and cooperation! 🌍
