We believe that the culture of today shouldn‘t be sacrificed for the culture of tomorrow. And this time, we want to make our voices heard. ‘The Screaming Sound‘ is an online space, dedicated to spreading the word about the preservation of the movie theatre ‘Sound‘, located in Panevėžys city, Lithuania.

We also invite you to join our Facebook group ‘Netildyk Garso / The Screaming Sound’, where we develop the strategies for further action together.

We demand that:

‘Sound’ would be officially enlisted as a cultural heritage site.

The renovation of ‘Sound‘ would be aimed at the continuity of its current activities.

In an attempt to improve the overall performance of ‘Sound’, wide-scale discussions with the experts, as well as the general public, would be held.
