Log in – Log out: Healthy Lifestyle through New Technologies
From 3 to 11 March 2025, a Youth Exchange titled “Log in – Log out: Healthy Lifestyle through New Technologies” was successfully implemented in Greece, bringing together young participants from Lithuania and other partner countries. The Lithuanian participants took part in the project through the DIMERA while the hosting and coordinating organization in Greece was System and G.
The project focused on exploring the relationship between digital technologies and healthy lifestyle habits among young people. Through non-formal education methods, workshops, group discussions, outdoor activities, and intercultural exchanges, participants critically examined the impact of screen time, social media, and digital tools on physical activity, mental health, and overall well-being. At the same time, they explored innovative ways in which new technologies can be used positively to support active living, balance, and self-care.
The Youth Exchange provided a strong learning environment that promoted digital awareness, personal responsibility, social interaction, and intercultural understanding. Participants enhanced their competences in teamwork, communication, and critical thinking, while developing practical strategies for achieving a healthier balance between online and offline life.
This project highlighted the importance of conscious technology use and empowered young people to “log in” with purpose and “log out” to reconnect with physical activity, nature, and meaningful social experiences.
