❄️🌱☀️🍂 As the seasons change, so does the FATE journey.

From ice skating during a winter snowstorm and hiking in the rain to challenging ourselves at Skypark, our local activities continue to show that learning happens in every season. Alongside these adventures, individual coaching sessions are helping young people reflect on their goals, build confidence, and take meaningful steps towards their future.

The journey also continues beyond Lithuania. Participants recently joined an international sailing adventure in Finland, while project partners met in North Macedonia to exchange experiences and plan the next steps of FATE together.

Every adventure, every conversation, and every challenge is another step from "I can't" to "I did it." 💙

FATE Project: Equipping a New Generation of European Multipliers 🃏✨

During our international Study Visit “From Open Spaces to Policy Making” in Lithuania, we reached a major milestone: the official dissemination of the FATE project results.

This session was designed for a specialized group of European multipliers—NGO leaders, youth workers, and educational consultants—who are now bringing these innovative methodologies back to their home countries.

The Outcome:
The highlight was the distribution of the FATE Card Deck, a tangible tool created to bridge arts-based coaching with daily professional practice. Each participant left the session not just with a theory, but with a ready-to-use resource for their local reality.

A Global Partnership for Impact:
This dissemination was made possible through the collaboration of our international participants representing:

🇱🇹 Innovative Generation (Lithuania)

🇬🇪 Creative Youth Platform (Georgia)

🇸🇰 Youth Initiative Cana (Slovakia)

🇵🇱 Pieknolesie Foundation (Poland)

🇺🇦 “Vzayemopomich” (Ukraine)

🇦🇲 Altera Lab (Armenia)

🇮🇹 Oriel APS (Italy)

Together, we are ensuring that arts-based training remains at the forefront of European youth work and non-formal education.

From Eco-Anxieties to Actions : The right to panic and the courage to commit The YouCare project is coming to an end, and it was a surprising journey all the way.

We started with a simple question : what happens when you take eco-anxieties seriously, not as a disorder to be treated but as a rational response to real threats? And in particular, what happens when you let young people lead the research themselves?
The answer, we learned, is not simple! But the process of collective exploration is truly worth it.

Our final day was all about school-based youth work at the M. Šimelionis Gymnasium in Lentvaris. We were hosted by the Student Council, who led us on a full excursion of their school.
The highlight? Our participants joined students in the classroom for cooking, chemistry, and PE, experiencing the Lithuanian education system first-hand. After lunch at the school and an excursion in Lentvaris park also led by students, we returned for a partnership-building session to ensure this project leads to long-term collaboration.

Day 2: From Alternative Education to Urban Youth Hubs.

A day of deep contrasts and community support! We spent the morning exploring the Waldorf kindergarten and school “Patirčių slėnis” in Trakai, learning about nature-based and alternative educational paths.
The journey continued with site visits to the Lentvaris Open Youth Centre and the Elektrėnai Youth Centre, observing how different municipalities create space for young people to thrive.
To round it all off, we focused on supporting local providers, filling our bellies with incredible Georgian and Lithuanian flavors. A perfect day of learning and community connection!

Transnational meeting in North Macedonia that was brought together by FATE, our partners gathered to share their experiences implementing project activities. Vytautas and Arturs takes part there this time.

Day 1 was incredibly rewarding to discuss the real impact this work is having on the young people involved! After a productive morning of reviewing our progress and planning future steps, we took our collaboration outdoors.

We finished the day with a refreshing hike in the beautiful mountains of Bitola, connecting with nature and each other.
