Science Comes to Life - The “Researchers’ Grand Prix” invites young researchers to take the stage and present their ideas to the general public in accessible language.

The project brings together science, innovative business, and society-opening the door to collaboration, innovation, and the implementation of scientific ideas in Lithuania.

This is not just a competition-it is an opportunity to grow: to gain confidence, connections, public speaking skills, and to be noticed-invited to business development accelerators, where participants are given the opportunity to develop their ideas from a business perspective and receive comprehensive support from experienced investment funds.

The “Researchers’ Grand Prix” is changing the perspective on science—from the laboratory to the lecture hall, from the pages of a dissertation to real value for business and society. Therefore, please share this information with all doctoral students!

The KTU Library is excited to announce the first meetup of the KTU Open Science Community, a new peer-led network designed specifically for researchers to share experiences, learn practical skills, and support one another.

🔓What will be discussed at the first meetup?

We will focus on PhD Project Documentation and the standard format for organising files and folders. PhD researcher Maziar Moussavi and Marjan Monshi will share their experiences and the challenges they've faced, along with tips on what has worked for them.
This meetup is centred around sharing experiences, so everyone is encouraged to participate by sharing their own tips or asking questions.

The InSPiR2eS Global Pitching Research Competition (IGPRC2025) is officially here at KTU! 🎉

Key Details & Timeline 🗓️

Who: PhD students 🧑‍🎓 and young researchers 🔬 from Lithuanian academic institutions (received their doctoral degree not later than 5 years ago).

Core Task: Produce a written 1,000-word novel research pitch using the Pitching Research Framework (PRF).

Learn: Sharpen your skills! Attend the vital pitching seminar with Prof. Robert Faff 👨‍🏫 on October 9th, 2025, right at KTU.

Compete: The KTU Competition is on October 10th, 2025. The winners from Lithuania of the best-written pitches will go to the semi-final. 🚀

Prize: The ultimate winners of the global competition will share approximately AUD$20,000 prize! 💸.
