Welcomed into the splendid setting of the «Renzo Barbera» Stadium in Palermo, the kids enjoyed an exclusive and emotional behind-the-scenes tour of great football. They breathed in the vibrant energy of the locker rooms, walked on the pitch of the main field, felt the thrill of sitting on the benches, and finally, discovered the club’s rich history by walking through the halls of the Rosanero museum.
For these young people, who are working on overcoming traumas related to war and contexts of social fragility, football proves to be much more than just an athletic discipline. Today, on the Barbera pitch, the ball was a safe haven, a universal language, and a bridge to lightheartedness. ❤️
