National SCLC's Justice for Girls Initiative

National SCLC's Justice for Girls Initiative We are working to end s*x trafficking of children! This is done through both advocacy and activism. It also includes proposing new and/or upgraded legislation.

Vision Statement

Justice for Girls heightens awareness of human trafficking and s*xual exploitation within communities, using education to empower individuals and groups to actively work to eradicate this injustice issue. Advocacy involves leveraging current legislation and what is already known about human trafficking as a prevention strategy. Activism involves holding forums and conferences, co

nducting research, and facilitating focus groups from which more effective interventions can be devised. Importantly, Justice for Girls relies strongly upon faith communities and women led programs and projects to promote the emotional and spiritual wholeness that is the firm foundation for the self-care and social support required to lower girls’ risk of s*xual exploitation and trafficking.
