Seetsa Youth Empowerment is an
evidence-based program that aimed
to empower Malaoaneng Ha-Seetsa
Youths to make positive changes in
their communities and to work with
adults to support their efforts.

GOALS:
 To improve the quality of life.
 To help youths to recognize their capabilities, self –determination and worth.
 To develop problem solving skills.
 To provide a safe environment to learn and practice life skills.
 To eliminate destructive behaviours.
 To develop responsibility and respect/care about others.
 To develop leadership abilities.
 To increase self-esteem.

OBJECTVES:
 To foster and develop increased learning and development opportunities for young people
by encouraging and supporting them to contribute, steer initiatives and lead their own
youth-led projects.
 To build strong relationships with organizations that share our aims, thereby further
increasing the capacity of young people to build their skills and aptitudes for their own
personal growth and their community’s long-term success and development.
 To generate in young people a sense of responsibility and ownership for the actions they
undertake and develop their citizenship and involvement in their communities.
