Tsosane Dumpsite on Fire – Again!

Once again, the Tsosane dumpsite is burning, filling our neighborhood with toxic smoke and threatening the health of families, children, and the environment.

We still remember the last fire, the coughing, the difficulty in breathing, and the ash that settled over homes, schools, and businesses. This dumpsite is not far from us; it sits in the heart of our community.

Every fire is a painful reminder of why sustainable waste management is urgently needed. This is not just a nuisance,it is a public health crisis and an environmental disaster.

We call on the Maseru City Council, the Ministry of Environment, and other responsible authorities to take urgent action to prevent these recurring fires and work with the community toward real, lasting solutions.

At Nebulart Recycling Group, we believe in turning waste into opportunity, but this requires systemic change, collaboration, and accountability.
