🌈 For Dkay, Q***r Joy means reclaiming space, dignity, and the freedom to live authentically as a trans person. It is found not only in celebration, but in everyday moments of self-respect, visibility, and belonging.

Dkay envisions a future where q***r and trans people no longer have to fight for recognition and acceptance—a future where families celebrate their LGBTQI+ loved ones openly, and where living authentically is ordinary rather than extraordinary.

Their message to the community is simple: your joy matters. Every moment of happiness, love, and self-acceptance helps create a world where others can see that they, too, belong.

Today, Pride means one thing to Dkay: loving yourself and embracing who you are without fear or shame. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

As Pride Month comes to a close, we invite our community members, friends, partners, and allies to reflect on the power of Q***r Joy.

Q***r Joy is more than celebration—it is love, resilience, belonging, healing, and the freedom to live authentically. As we close this month of Pride, we would love to hear your thoughts:

1. What does Q***r Joy mean to you, and how do you experience it in your everyday life?

2. What does a future filled with Q***r Joy look like to you?

3. What message of hope, love, or encouragement would you like to share with other LGBTQI+ people?

4. In one word or sentence, what does Pride mean to you today?

👇 Share your response in the comments below and join us in celebrating the beauty, strength, resilience, and joy that exists within our communities every day.

On International Albinism Awareness Day, we’re reminded that visibility is more than being seen. It’s about being recognized as fully human. Albinism isn’t a curse or a rarity to gawk at; it’s one of the many ways human biology expresses itself.

True inclusion means dismantling stigma, ensuring access to healthcare and education, and letting people with albinism define their own stories. When we choose curiosity over fear, we move closer to a world where difference isn’t tolerated but valued!

Q***r Love is Love!

This Pride Month, we honour the beauty, courage, tenderness, and power of q***r love in all its forms. Love that persists despite barriers. Love that builds community. Love that reminds us we all deserve dignity, belonging, and joy.

Today and every day, we affirm that q***r love is valid, valuable, and worthy of celebration.

Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month is here, and we need to talk for real.

For so long, Basotho men have been told to “suck it up”, “be strong”, “don’t cry”. But holding everything inside doesn’t make you stronger. It makes you tired, angry, and alone.

Struggling with stress, anxiety, or just feeling empty doesn’t make you less of a man. It makes you human.

This month, check on your brothers. Ask “How are you, really?” and wait for the answer. And if it’s you who’s struggling, talk to someone. A friend, a pastor, a counsellor. You don’t have to do this alone. You matter. You’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to ask for help.

This Pride Month, let’s talk pronouns!
In Lesotho, we say “motho ke motho ka batho” meaning a person is a person through others. Using someone’s pronouns is part of that.

For non-binary Basotho, pronouns like they/them help people feel seen. It costs nothing, but means everything.
Save these carousel scripts and share with someone who’s learning. We’re in this together!

This Pride Month, we celebrate love in all its forms, identities in all their truth, and the courage it takes to exist unapologetically in a world that still asks many to shrink themselves.

Pride is more than celebration it is resistance, visibility, healing, and community. It is a reminder that every person deserves dignity, safety, freedom, and the right to love openly.

To everyone still finding their voice, still fighting to be seen, and still choosing themselves every single day: we see you, we honour you, and we stand with you. 🌈✨
