We believe that sustainable change starts with community, design, and entrepreneurship. Today, we celebrate the limitless potential, resilience, and voice of every African child.

We are not just imagining a brighter future for Africa’s youth—we are building it alongside them. By moving away from "potential" and focusing on real, tangible impact, our projects have positively transformed thousands of young lives across the continent.

Here is how we are empowering the next generation of leaders, job creators, and innovators:

🇱🇸 In Lesotho: God's Love Centre (GLC): Creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and grow.

Dignified Infrastructure: Constructing modern school ablution blocks and eco-friendly kitchens to ensure hygiene and health are never barriers to education.

Phelisanong Children’s Centre: Upgrading vital community spaces to restore safety, dignity, and opportunity for vulnerable youth.

Day Care Centres & CreoLabs: Laying a strong educational foundation early on to ignite creativity and critical thinking.

🇰🇪 In Kenya: Jacaranda Community Library: Opening doors to knowledge, literacy, and boundless imagination.

Junior Rangers Program: Empowering young environmental stewards to lead conservation efforts in their communities.

School Library Networks: Partnering with local schools to set up resource centers that equip students with the tools to succeed.

True youth empowerment means giving young people the platforms, resources, and trust to lead. When we invest in their education, protection, and well-being today, we secure the future of Africa tomorrow.

🌊 The six certified in Watamu! 🇰🇪

Last week, six of our talented youth from the Jacaranda Community Library made their mark on the global stage! Miriam, Patrick, Ramson, Ali, Sunday, and Happy officially submitted their masterpiece, "Watamu Ocean," to the 2026 Ocean Awareness Contest by Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Programs.

This is more than just a painting. By participating in the world’s largest environmental youth arts program, these budding leaders:

🎨 Empowered Through Creativity: These young Kenyans took charge of their narrative, using art to speak up for our planet.

🤝 Mastered Collaboration: Working as a team, they learned that big goals are reached together.

🌍 Connected with Culture: The project deepened their understanding of how their indigenous heritage interlinks with environmental conservation.

We are so proud to see them holding their Certificates of Participation! They’ve shown that youth voices from Kenya belong in the global conversation about our oceans.🏆

We are Live!!! 🔴 rise x UCL on Affordable Housing in Lesotho 🇱🇸✨

We are proud to celebrate our third consecutive year partnering with University College London (UCL).

This collaboration brings global expertise to local challenges, focusing on sustainable urban development in Lesotho. This year, MSc students led by Professor Hector Altamirano developed affordable housing models specifically for Maseru and Mokhotlong.

These designs represent a critical step forward in our "Designing for the Climate Emergency" initiative.
