Youth Hub Connekt Lesotho extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the East Central and Southern Africa Health Community - ECSA HC, government stakeholders, development partners, civil society organisations, and all collaborators who continue to champion youth participation in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and Demographic Dividend initiatives across the region.

We highly commend this important platform, which is moving beyond dialogue into meaningful action by transforming commitments from the Eswatini Youth Summit into tangible youth-led initiatives, strengthened policies, and sustainable investments. Such efforts demonstrate a collective commitment to ensuring that young people remain at the centre of development processes and decision-making.

As Youth Hub Connekt Lesotho, we are encouraged by the continued investment in creating spaces where young people can share experiences, reflect on progress, strengthen accountability, and contribute towards shaping policies and programmes that directly impact their lives and future.

We appreciate the unwavering support and collaboration of all partners in advancing youth development and promoting access to quality Sexual and Reproductive Health services and information. Together, we are building a future where every young person is empowered to participate meaningfully in national and regional development.

Thank you for your dedication, partnership, and commitment to amplifying youth voices across the ECSA region.

When was the last time you asked a man in your life, “How are you really doing?” and waited for an honest answer?

Chances are, you got a quick “I’m fine” or “All good,” even if that wasn’t the whole truth. For generations, men have been taught to mask their struggles, bottle up emotions, and push through pain silently.

But here’s what we rarely talk about: men are dying by su***de at nearly four times the rate of women. Over 6 million men experience depression each year, yet most never seek help. And despite these alarming numbers, men’s mental health continues to be one of the most overlooked public health issues of our time.

That’s exactly why Men’s Mental Health Month matters and why 2026 is a crucial year to finally break the silence.

Youth Hub Connekt Lesotho proudly celebrates the outstanding participation and performance of our delegates, Katleho Thamae and Gabashane Masupha , at last week’s pivotal forum on Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and the Demographic Dividend.

They did not just attend, they delivered. With clarity, confidence, and authority, they carried the voice of young people across the country into critical spaces of dialogue, influence, and decision-making. As panelist and moderator, they demonstrated what it truly means for youth to lead from the front, engaging with substance, shaping conversations, and challenging the status quo with evidence-driven perspectives.

Their contribution reflects the very essence of Youth Hub Connekt Lesotho: a movement grounded in action, driven by purpose, and committed to positioning young people at the center of national and continental development agendas.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our delegates for representing with excellence, discipline, and vision. This is the standard. This is the shift. And this is what youth leadership in action looks like.

KHORA CAMPAIGN 🇱🇸
“Awakening Youth, Cultivating the Nation”

Lesotho cannot afford to wait. Youth unemployment is rising, opportunities are shrinking, and yet our land remains fertile and full of untapped potential. Through Youth Hub Connekt Lesotho the is a bold national call to awaken young people to their power because the future of Lesotho lies in the hands of its youth, and that future is agriculture.

This is not about traditional survival farming — this is about .From agri-tech and climate-smart farming to value chain development and youth-led agribusiness, we are redefining agriculture as a modern, competitive, and wealth-creating sector. Youth are not just job seekers — they are producers, entrepreneurs, and drivers of economic transformation.

Through the Khora Campaign, Youth Hub Connekt Lesotho is calling on every young Mosotho to rise, take action, and reclaim agriculture as a path to dignity, income, and national pride.

“Khora” means harvest, abundance, and possibility and that is exactly what we are building.

This is more than farming. It’s about:
-Creating real jobs for young people
-Turning agriculture into a profitable, modern career
-Building food security for our nation
-Empowering youth to lead Lesotho’s economic transformation.

From training and mentorship, to access to land, inputs, and markets, Khora is unlocking opportunities across the entire agricultural value chain.

To every young Mosotho: rise and take your place. With the right skills, access to land, financing, and technology, we can build a food-secure and self-reliant nation. A country that feeds itself secures its future.KHORA is the movement. Youth are the engine. Agriculture is the solution.
