Today we celebrate the power, dreams, and voices of young people. ๐ŸŒฑ

๐ŸŒ Menโ€™s Health Week | 15โ€“21 June ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’™

Today, we recognise and appreciate all men โ€” fathers, brothers, sons, friends, colleagues, and community leaders.

We honour the strength, sacrifices, and contributions of men in our communities. At the same time, we encourage conversations around menโ€™s physical health, mental health, and emotional wellbeing.

May we continue creating safe spaces where men feel supported to speak, seek help, and prioritise their health.
Your wellbeing matters. Your story matters. Your health matters. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Children deserve a childhood filled with learning, safety, and opportunities โ€” not exploitation. Every child has the right to dignity, education, protection, and a future.๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ

Child labour is not only violation of children's rights but also a form of abuse that robs children of their dignity, education, health and future.
The Children's Protection and Welfare Act 2011 guarantees every child the right to education, shelter, health care and protection from exploitative labour, while Labour Act 2024 expressly prohibits child labour including it's worst forms for all persons under the age of 18.
Children belong in classrooms, safe homes and playgrounds not in fields and factories.

Today, 12 June; let us all work together to protect children, promote their well being and ensure that adults have access to decent work so that no child is forced into labour.

โ€œEvery symbol tells a story.โ€

The Womenโ€™s Health Day logo was carefully designed to reflect the health, strength, resilience, and empowerment of Basotho women.

From the iconic mokorotlo-inspired hat representing our heritage, to the health and wellness symbols that highlight the importance of reproductive, physical, and mental well-being, the logo reminds us that womenโ€™s health matters.

As we count down to Womenโ€™s Health Day 2026, we celebrate the women who continue to nurture families, strengthen communities, and inspire future generations.
