On 19 June 2026, TASM had the privilege of visiting children and youth at Khanyane. The day was filled with energy, laughter, and powerful conversations about mental health wellness through sports.

We emphasized the importance of being actively involved in sports, not only for physical fitness but also for building resilience, reducing stress, and strengthening mental well-being. At TASM, youth and children’s mental wellness truly matters. 💙

The message was clear: "sports are more than games, they are pathways to stronger minds and healthier communities."

Beyond sports, we also highlighted how art and recreation play a vital role in mental health:
- Art encourages self-expression, creativity, and emotional release.
- Music and dance uplift moods and foster connection.
- Recreation and play build teamwork, confidence, and joy.

Together, sports, art, and recreation create safe spaces where young people can thrive mentally, emotionally, and socially.

A heartfelt thank you to the Khanyane youth for their energy and openness. Let’s continue to champion mental wellness through active participation and creativity!

This Youth Day, let’s talk mental health 💚

16 June reminds us that the future is young - but the pressure is real too.

At TASM, we believe _bophelo ba kelello bo bohlokoa - mental health matters. Healthy minds build a stronger Lesotho.

Today we honor those who came before us, and we commit to checking in on ourselves + each other.

Stress is normal. Asking for help is strong. You are not alone.

Drop a 💚 if you’re choosing your mental health this year.

Healing Isn’t a Straight Line

One of the most difficult feelings is believing you’ve healed, only to find yourself back in the same pain again. It can feel discouraging, but it doesn’t mean you failed or that you haven’t grown. Healing is not a straight path, it’s a journey with twists, turns, and sometimes circles that bring us back to lessons we thought we had already learned.

This happens because life has a way of reopening old wounds when we least expect it. A familiar situation, a memory, or even a small trigger can bring back emotions we thought were gone. Growth doesn’t erase pain, it changes how we face it. Each time the lesson returns, it’s not proof of weakness, but an invitation to go deeper, to understand ourselves more fully, and to strengthen the tools we’ve built along the way.

Overcoming these moments starts with acknowledging them without shame. You are not back at the beginning, you are standing on ground you’ve already walked, stronger than before. Patience is key, because healing takes time, and revisiting old lessons is part of the process. Most importantly, you don’t have to carry it alone. Sharing your struggle with someone you trust can lighten the weight and remind you that you are supported.

Remember: Falling back into pain doesn’t erase your progress. It shows you are still moving forward, still learning, still becoming. Every step, even the hard ones, is proof of your resilience.

Yourhealing matters Your journey matters. Even when it feels like you’re repeating the same lesson, you are evolving. You are not alone, and you are not failing, you are growing stronger every day.

To Every Man Who Needs This Reminder

Being a man doesn’t mean carrying the world on your shoulders without ever showing the weight. Strength is not about silence, it’s about honesty, resilience, and the courage to keep going even when life feels heavy.

Too often, men are told to “tough it out” or “keep it together.” But the truth is: you don’t have to fight your battles alone. Reaching out, talking about what’s on your mind, or simply admitting “I’m not okay right now” is not weakness, it’s bravery.

This June, let’s break the myth that men must always be unshakable. You are human. You are allowed to feel. You are allowed to rest. And you are allowed to ask for help.

Your presence matters. Your story matters. You matter.

Take one step at a time, and remember: healing is not about being perfect, it’s about choosing to keep moving forward.

MEN'S MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH JUNE 2026

💙 Thakaneng And Seotloaneng Movement (TASM) 💙
This June, we join the world in recognizing Men's Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental health affects everyone, yet many men continue to suffer in silence due to stigma, fear, and societal expectations.
Men are often told to be strong, hide their emotions, and face challenges alone.

Tloaelo ea rona re le Basotho ke h**e

However, true strength is found in speaking up, seeking support, and prioritizing mental well-being.
At Thakaneng And Seotloaneng Movement (TASM), we encourage all men and boys to:
✅ Talk about their feelings without fear of judgment.
✅ Seek help when facing emotional or mental health challenges.
✅ Support fellow men who may be struggling.
✅ Prioritize self-care, healthy relationships, and positive coping strategies.
✅ Remember that asking for help is a sign of courage, not weakness.
This month, let us break the silence, challenge stigma, and create safe spaces where men can openly discuss their mental health.
Your mental health matters. Your voice matters. Your life matters.
📞 If you are struggling, reach out to a trusted friend, family member, counselor, or mental health professional.

Real talk - what’s quietly stressing you out that you haven’t said out loud?

05/05/2026

May is Mental Health Month, but your life matters far beyond this moment, it matters every single day.

Even when the weight feels unbearable, even when hope seems far away, please hold on. You have already carried yourself through storms you thought would break you, and that strength is still alive within you.

The difficult chapters are not the whole story, they are only part of it. Your journey is bigger, richer, and more beautiful than the pain you’ve faced.

You are never truly alone, even if it feels that way. You are needed. You are valued. You are loved, more deeply than you may ever realize.

Take this truth with you: YOUR EXISTENCE IS A GIFT, AND YOUR STORY IS STILL UNFOLDING.
