John Dickson writes ✍️

It was a privilege to represent the Chief Quelmin Toto Rural Educational Foundation at the Changemakers' Conference 2026. The experience went far beyond attending a conference; it was truly an eye-opener for both me and my team.

I would like to extend special thanks to our CEO, Dr. George Toto, for affording us the opportunity to represent this unique organization.

I am also grateful to Project Change International for the opportunity to learn from your expertise and to network with various global professionals. What stood out most to me was the systematic coordination of activities throughout the conference.

To my teammates, Dennis Adolphus and Kalalee Korto Gibson, thank you for the effort, dedication, and support you gave in helping us pitch our organization on a larger stage. I deeply appreciate your willingness to set aside your personal schedules for the sake of the organization. The fact that you developed a comprehensive proposal in just one night demonstrated your focus and commitment to advancing the interests of Quelmin Toto.

Although we did not win the grant this time, I remain optimistic, as we gained valuable lessons from the experience. You have once again shown a high level of commitment not only to Quelmin Toto but also to the wider community. I look forward to more coordinated efforts that will help move our organization forward.

To my fellow participants, you were all amazing at the conference. The knowledge sharing, fun, and networking truly reflected our slogan: β€œYour network is your net worth.”

To my roommates, thank you for accepting me in all my different moods and for your patience with me. It was inspiring to see how well you are leading your respective organizations. Keep up the excellent work.

I also extend my gratitude to everyone who provided financial support for the conference. I assure you that your contributions were used wisely.

We are now Changemakers

OFFICIAL STATEMENT
Chief Quelmin Toto Rural Educational Foundation
On the Criminal Theft of Street Lights in Totota

The Chief Quelmin Toto Rural Educational Foundation unequivocally condemns the criminal theft of street lights installed by the Foundation in Totota for the safety and benefit of the community.

This reckless and disgraceful act is not only a theft of public property but a direct threat to community safety, development, and collective progress. These street lights were installed to protect lives, reduce crime, and enhance public security. Their removal endangers residents and undermines genuine community development efforts.

The Foundation has formally engaged the Liberia National Police and relevant security authorities to conduct a full investigation. All individuals found responsible, whether directly or indirectly involved, will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.

Let it be made absolutely clear: the theft of community assets will not be tolerated. The Foundation is already strengthening security measures to ensure that such criminal acts do not recur.

The Foundation calls on all law-abiding citizens to cooperate with authorities. Anyone with credible information related to this crime is urged to contact the Chief Quelmin Toto Rural Educational Foundation through its official communication channels.

The Chief Quelmin Toto Rural Educational Foundation remains resolute and unwavering in its commitment to the safety, dignity, and well-being of the Totota community. Acts of criminality will not deter our mission to protect community investments and promote sustainable development.
