Youth Network for Positive Change (YOUNETPO) is a registered and Accredited Youth-led National Non-Governmental/ Non-for Profit Youth Organization in Liberia.

YIntroduction

Youth Network for Positive Change - YOUNETPO is registered and accredited youth led and youth focus national civil society organization with over 9 years of experience working around key issues including peacebuilding, human rights and citizens access to justice, s*xual reproductive health rights, health system strengthening and service delivery, HIV/AIDS care, prevention and treatment, climate change, youth and s*xuality, youth capacity development, and civic engagements. Since its establishment in 2014, YOUNETPO has initiated several programs to empower women and girls through capacity building initiatives and leadership programs, advocate for women and girls’ rights and access to safe abortion, education, health care services and fostered political accountability to make elected leaders more accountable and responsive. These programs and projects have benefited over 10,000 Youths between the ages of 10-35 years; we have successfully implemented projects and programs in Montserrado, Margibi, Grand Bassa, Gbarpolu, B**g and Nimba Counties. As a youth-led organization, YOUNETPO is actively driving change to strengthen Liberia's health systems. Through community-led health facility monitoring and implementing Citizen's Charters, we ensure essential, life-saving resources reach those who need them most.

We are excited to share that YOUNETPO has launched field monitoring operations across public health facilities in Montserrado County under the Nurture, Empower, and Protect (NEP) program.

With the support of UNFPA through CHAI and funding from the Government of Ireland, our youth-led team is assessing health centers to:
✅ Improve Reproductive Health (RH) service access
✅ Avert essential RH commodity stock-outs
✅ Strengthen patient-to-facility feedback loops

Every community deserves reliable, high-quality healthcare. We are proud to be on the ground ensuring that adolescent girls and youth in Liberia access high-quality reproductive health services.

Exciting 2 days at the Ministry of Youth and Sports!

Our M&E; Lisa T. Zayzay has just wrapped up a highly engaging 2-day Youth, Peace and Security Consultation Meeting (July 14-15, 2026). The sessions were incredibly inspiring and focused on developing robust, actionable strategies that emphasize the critical role young people play in peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and creating resilient communities.

A huge thank you to the Ministry of Youth and Sports for hosting and to the YPS coalition for the visionary initiative which has helped bring fresh perspectives to the table!

We are pleased to announce that YOUNETPO has been awarded a sub-grant from Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) through the Nurture, Empower, and Protect (NEP) program, supported by UNFPA with funding from the Government of Ireland.

As part of this grant, YOUNETPO will lead accountability efforts across selected public health facilities in Montserrado County to enhance access to Reproductive Health (RH) Services, reduce stock-out of essential RH commodities, and improve feedback mechanisms among users of RH services.

Also last week, our Executive Director, Amb Leo E Tiah facilitated a session on Digital tool for the YPS implementation in Liberia 🇱🇷 at the Youth Peace and Security Forum organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with Youth Peace and Security Coalition and supported my development partners including: UNFPA, ECOWAS, GIZ, European Union among others.

The event was attended by a cross section of youth from Montserrado, Margibi, B**g and Grand Cape Mount Counties.

Also attending along with the ED was our MERL Officer, Lisa T. Zayzay.
