The SULINA-Project is a community empowerment initiative by Image Builders Liberia aimed at training 120 underserved women single mothers, adolescent girls, young women, and disabled ladies in vocational skills such as tailoring, catering, hair braiding, and cosmetology over two 6-month cycles. The project provides free tuition, while seeking support for tools and materials to help participants launch income-generating activities. Our goal is to reduce poverty, dependency, and unemployment by equipping women with practical skills to become self-reliant. We aim for at least 70% of graduates to start small businesses or gain employment within three months post-training. Success will be tracked through assessments, follow-ups, and documented stories of impact. By the end of the program, we expect to directly improve the lives of 480 individuals through enhanced household income and stability. The project also fosters mentorship and community engagement, creating a ripple effect of transformation, hope, and resilience.
