A few days ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming Wodemaya, one of Africa's leading storytellers and content creators, to the Liberian Learning Center (LLC). Our conversation focused on the impact the Center is making in Liberia and the opportunities it is creating for communities across the country.
Over the last year, more than 20,000 people from across Liberia have benefited from our programs in digital literacy, entrepreneurship, research, and innovation, while gaining access to valuable learning resources.
Our next chapter, the Kúkátónón Community Center (KCC), is an expansion designed to create even greater opportunities for young people across Liberia. In a short period of time, we have raised over $1 million USD, but we cannot do this alone.
As Wodemaya has often said throughout his travels across Africa, Africa can only be built by Africans. Real and lasting change begins when we invest in our own communities, our own people, and our own future.
That is why we want to invite you to be part of something bigger than any one person, something that will impact generations of Liberians. We are raising the remaining $500,000 needed to complete the $1.5 million budget for Phase II of the Kúkátónón Community Center, and your support can help turn this vision into a reality.
