On March 17 and 18, the program team conducted a field visit to the Restoring Hope Foundation in Bentol City, along with two of our partner schools—Acre of Hope and Evangelical Christian Academy—as part of their regular assessment activities.
During the visit, the team carried out surveys and engaged directly with students and orphans to better understand their current needs and challenges. In addition to the assessments, they also shared teachings about Christ, providing spiritual encouragement and support to the children.

On Friday, February 20, we resumed our regular orphanage support — this time serving the children at Restoring Hope Foundation. HOPE continues to demonstrate compassion in action by caring for people and meeting both their physical and spiritual needs.
Through this support, we were able to provide essential supplies and encouragement, reinforcing our commitment to uplifting vulnerable children and reminding them that they are valued, loved, and not forgotten.
Together, we remain dedicated to restoring hope and transforming lives.

On Friday, December 5th, which was the first Friday of the month, Helping Our Poor Environment-HOPE held its second chapel service to help meet the spiritual needs of our students. This time, Pastor Steve Manuel, a HOPE scholar and volunteer—preached, and it was a wonderful time of learning. The entire service was student-centered, except for the sermon. During the service, students recited Bible verses, sang, danced, and shared stories.

Helping Our Poor Environment (HOPE) held its first chapel service for its scholars on the first Friday of November, with the goal of nurturing the spiritual growth and well-being of our community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Pastor T. Mark Elis for sharing the Gospel with us and for graciously allowing us to use their church building for this special gathering.

Helping Our Poor Environment (HOPE) Concludes Second Scholars Meeting

On August 8, 2025, Helping Our Poor Environment (HOPE) successfully concluded its second Scholars Meeting. The primary purpose of this gathering is to address and nurture the spiritual needs of our students.

This year’s event brought together 40 high school students from Acres of Hope, Evangelical Christian Academy (ECA), and Thinkers Foundation Academy, along with six university students from Carver Christian University. The high school students were accompanied by their parents, bringing the total number of participants to 86. Including guests, the total attendance reached approximately 100 individuals.

We were honored to have two distinguished speakers at the event: Pastor Stephen Manuel of HOPE and Pastor T. Mark Elis, Principal and Pastor of Evangelical Christian Academy. Both pastors delivered powerful messages centered on Jesus Christ and encouraged the students to cherish the opportunities He provides.

As part of our commitment to supporting students academically, we distributed essential school supplies, including 14 copybooks, two packs of pencils, two packs of erasers, ten sharpeners, and more.

This year, HOPE is proud to partner with three high schools and one university. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, donors, and friends for their continued support. Your generosity is making a tangible difference in the lives of many young Liberians, especially during these challenging times.

Together, we are restoring HOPE—spiritually and academically.
