Today is World Menstrual Hygiene Day!

Let’s break the silence and end the stigma around menstruation. Every person who menstruates deserves access to proper hygiene products, education, and a safe environment to manage their periods with dignity.

💧 Menstrual hygiene is not just a health issue – it’s a matter of human rights, equality, and empowerment.

Join us in raising awareness and supporting menstrual health initiatives worldwide.

A big thank you to UNICEF Liberia and it's partners, for this worthy initiative that promotes child's health, especially a prevention mechanism against diseases like malaria.
CAPD Liberia is proud of your work across the world 🌎 👏

Malaria remains a leading threat to children in Liberia. Last year, with UNICEF's support, we saw a 15% reduction in cases thanks to bed nets and community outreach! But the fight isn’t over.

We’re proud about the introduction of the malaria vaccine across 154 health facilities in six counties! By June 2025, Malaria vaccine will be expanded to the remaining 55 districts in nine additional counties!

Let’s rally together for increased funding and commitment to CRC Article 24—ensuring every child is protected from preventable diseases like malaria. Together, we can ensure no child loses their life to a mosquito bite!

Wonderful journey! We are willing to work with you on this and more, madam.

The Trauma Healing International Community of Practice (hosted by The Bible Society of Nigeria) was a time of sharing experiences and strategies on trauma healing in our world of uncertainty. Healing group facilitators and ministry leaders were inspired with new insights for their continuing work of restoration.

We asked We asked Florence Nakerwon Zor-Leamah why she decided to become a trauma healing facilitator. Her answer:

"My decision is based on the profound impact trauma can have on a person’s life. Having witnessed people struggle with their own traumatic experiences, I felt a deep calling to support those on their journeys to healing. This role allows me to create safe spaces where individuals can process their pain, find community, and begin to heal. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see others rediscover their strength and reclaim their lives."

🌱 You can become a healing group facilitator too--learn more: https://traumahealinginstitute.org/lead-a-group
