On World Mental Health Day, let us end the silence and promote empathy and understanding for those suffering from mental illness. Mental health is vital component of our overall well-being, affecting everyone, including our families, school and workplaces. We must remember that seeking out help is not weakness, but rather a sign of strength. Support is available for everyone in Liberia, whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, or any other type of emotional trauma. We can help build a Liberia by working together to provide all of its citizens with the opportunity to live in peace and dignity. We can build a stronger nation by supporting mental health initiatives and spreading kindness.
